Working with the Macros

For proper working with the macros you need:
1. To select the right (correct) source code page. Go to Tables - 1, 2 to find information about languages supported by the different code pages for Mac OS and Windows.
2. To install the appropriate Macintosh System language Script for a text set with other than Mac Roman/US code page.

You must select the code page for translation, pict. 2.
In this step you must select the Macintosh code page for the output document. The selected code page determines to which code page will be converted the selected text. This selection is critical for the proper translation. For example, if you know, that the old Word document has been set in Cyrillic, you must select Cyrillic code page for that translation.

Tip!
If you want to save the document in the NON-Unicode (ASCII) format for use with old applications, just select from the File menu in the Word98/2001 the option:
Save As
and select format for the document file Word for Macintosh 4.0, 5.0 or 5.1.
